Collection and use of your personal data is made in compliance with the French law n°78 dated 6 January 1978 as amended.

This document states how your personal data is collected, used and secured by LIBON and is part of the LIBON general conditions of use. It can be amended through publication of a new document applicable as of its online publication date.

I. What personal data is collected by Libon ?

When delivering the service, LIBON collects and uses the following information:

When a User creates a LIBON account, the User has to register his/her name, forename, email address, mobile phone number, username and password.

In order to deliver a complete service, the User will be asked, at the creation of his/her LIBON account, to give consent to LIBON to access and make a copy of his/her address book from his/her mobile device.

Once the account is created, LIBON will store the User data such as written and vocal messages and call reports (calls duration, called numbers, calling numbers etc.).

If a User subscribes to the LIBON Premium Option, marketplaces may use the User’s payment data (credit cards etc.) and the User’s relevant data is subject to the terms and conditions of those marketplaces.

Mobile applications on the LIBON service also store a User’s location data only after having obtained consent of those users.

Within synchronization of LIBON account with Twitter and Facebook, LIBON has access to the User data in Facebook through Facebook Connect and to User data of Twitter through Twitter Auth. These are the two officials processes of Facebook and Twitter which protect password of their respective members (to which LIBON has no access).

II. How and Why Libon uses your personal data ?

Personal data is collected for the following purposes :

  • to assure good delivery of the LIBON service
  • to diagnose call errors and help to solve service quality problems.
  • statistical purposes : for example to study service quality of calls.
  • to comply with legal obligations and to prevent fraud
  • to inform users of LIBON offers and services.

User personal data is not transferred to third parties for marketing or solicitation purposes, except with the User’s express consent.

III. Cookies

We inform Users also that cookies are (or can be) used to store information on their device (mobile phone or computer) during connection to the Portal and/or the Service as the case may be. Such information permits Users to access the service without repeatedly re-typing their password and username each time they connect. Users can disable this function through their web browser parameters.

IV. Contact

Users can always access their LIBON account data to change or update them in the « Preferences » page of the Libon Application. Change of mobile number in your account can be made as from the Portal.

When Users wish to delete their LIBON account, they can send an email to support.web@libon.com or they can delete it directly from the Service in the parameters functionality by selecting the option « Delete your account ».

Orange can contact Users to inform them of problems linked to the Service delivery, of breaches by Users of the LIBON general terms of use or if another User complains of the use of the Service by such User.

Orange can also send emails and SMS’s or use the Service in order to communicate information on LIBON to Users.

V. Data Storage

Orange stores User data as long as necessary for the above purposes and in compliance with laws and regulations and with requests from authorities.
